My Sun, My Air

11/18/06

Her eyes are mesmerizing
I cannot withdraw
I'm locked into it's hold
They reflect my awe
Of how someone so pure
And quite unexpected
Was able to unearth love
Not previously detected

Her smile is my sun
Her laugh is my air
Her cry reminds me
To always be there
Abandon all my fears
Abandon all my doubts
Drain away my tears
Find what she's about

Her life has just started
But her energy is wise
She advises me
To take off my disguise
She's given me the role
To be the architype
To teach her the differences
Between the wrong and the right

Her smile is my sun
Her laugh is my air
Her cry reminds me
To always be there
Abandon all my fears
Abandon all my doubts
Drain away my tears
Find what she's about

I am a reflection of her
And she's a reflection of me
Her eyes are my mirror
Of who I want to be
It's my time to wake
And set my heart free
She is my land
And I am her sea

This one's beautiful, too, but I feel like you have more to say. I'm not sure what I mean by that, but after reading it I was like ... "and?" like, I was waiting to hear more ... like you had more to say ...
