Jewels in the Bay

(22 Feb 2005)

Oh how I love this city
In which I've been very close too
She provides me with the hustle and bustle
A lively culture combining what's old and what's new
Different hemispheres forced to live as one
Here I'm hidden in the oceans haze
In 10min I'll find paradise sun
A tourist in my homeland
Adventure lies in my backyard
Finding little treasures in this metropolis
Is not at all that hard
The peaks of our land hide behind heavens guard
Hills rolling into the distance disappearing from afar
The beauty that emanates from the boarder of the pacific
Collects artifacts from far away
Both humble and prolific
It's where the sun wakes
From it's nap into the abyss
Rising from it's burial
Beyond the hills among the mist
A magical place, if you're from far away
But for me, it's my home
The birth of my day
